ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ryan Crawley is an artist who resides in west Michigan. He received his Bachelor Fine Arts with an emphasis in Painting from Western Michigan University. Current artwork is influenced by landscapes, animals, and sketch paintings. 2020 was an influential year on his artistic journey. He created his first mural titled “Black Anxiety” and created opportunities to work with local organizations.

ARTIST STATEMENT

The work that truly motivates me is surrounded by color and line. So much can be said without actually speaking about the piece.
